Meetings every 3rd Wednesday of the Month
Meeting called to order by Vice Commander Fritz Feldhouse at 1905. Pledge of Allegiance was recited, invocation given by Vice Commander and the bell was tolled for the Boats lost during the month of July. All present introduced themselves and World War II Veteran Ray Koch was recognized.
Frank Hardick had made up a Business Plan for the Memorial and read it to the attendees and them presented it to George Gasser for delivery to the economic group of Saratoga.
Treasurer Fred Carlson gave the June report:

Wednesday, August 27America’s racetrack will showcase its red, white and blue spirit as Saratoga Race
Course prepares to pay tribute to the men and women protecting our country with
the annual “Proud to be an American” day at the Spa
Race Course.Our intentions are to bring the float and we have requested two tables that we will have submarine related material, Memorial Foundation information, some hand out information etc., etc. I have been told that we will be located near the Big Red Spring which is in the north west section of the paddock. Specific information has been mailed to myself and Cdr. Singleman and will be promulgated at our next meeting. If you are unable to attend our August meeting and would like to volunteer your services for the day or part of the day please contact Al at 355-2119 or myself at 587-6317 although I will be away from the 16th until 23rd of August.
